Yuki Hayami
Also known as The hero's son.
Son of the hero Reiko Hayami, a knight who judges people by strength rather than status, and Ryuji's first true friend.

History
Short blonde hair, a knight's uniform and a rapier. He inherited ice from his father and fights as a fencer, forming icicles faster than his classmates and commanding floating swords of ice.
He took the title of Jack, and has never once beaten Sawano in all their years of sparring.
He is the only one who tells Ryuji when he has gone too far. After Ryuji broke Riki's mind in the arena, Yuki raised his voice at him for the first time — not to scold, but out of fear of the path his friend was walking.
He stood between his own father and the Lord of the Tower with a trembling blade, and refused to yield.
