Nori Morita

Overview

Nori Morita is a student of the Morita barony, a lesser noble house that prides itself on protection and unwavering loyalty. Known for a quiet, calculated presence and water-based attacks, he enters the Battle of the Kings as Riki Shibatani's opponent. He yields immediately, an arrangement that exposes Riki’s manipulation of the bracket and leaves the crowd furious.

Nori next appears in the assault on Michika Midori. He does not join the beating, instead standing aside and observing. When Ryuji’s group confronts the nobles, Nori keeps watch and later attacks from a tree with a concentrated orb of water. The schoolyard battle culminates in a portal-assisted strike, but by His Return Nori is visibly shaken; even those who fought him recognise that his composure has broken.

Connections

Nori’s loyalty to Riki conflicts with the Morita ideal of protection, especially once Michika is involved. His encounters with Ryuji, Yuki, and Sawano make him a bridge between Riki’s faction and the victims it has harmed.
