The Kingdom of Norn
A land of harsh winter climates and hardy folk of nomadic nature.
Article
Northern kingdom
Norn occupies the far north of Kaladria. Its harsh winters and nomadic people distinguish it from the cultivated landscapes of Helio or the deserts of Agabah. The people are described as continually seeking resources and stability, a condition that gives their mobility and endurance a practical political meaning rather than making them merely a northern stereotype.
Place in the six kingdoms
Alongside Helio, Agabah, Hikari, Chiseido, and the former Lindsey, Norn is one of the states left after Kaladria’s older patchwork of kingdoms consolidated. Volume I establishes its geographic and social character but does not place it at the centre of the school conflict or the Tower’s interventions.
Historical context
The Gate crisis and the Demon War involved the human kingdoms as a group, making Norn part of the continental order later shaped by the Treaty of Hope. This article preserves that Volume I perspective without assigning unshown actions to the kingdom.
Scope
This article presents information available through Volume I. Later developments are intentionally not included.
